Peter and Patty Cadaver are pushing a cart full of groceries with a blank expression. Their father asks them what's wrong, and they say that they saw Principal Scott. "Yeah? So? Did you think the principal LIVED at school?" he asks. "Um. Yeah." says Patty. "Does that mean...he ESCAPED?!" asks Peter.

Pistachio and Nutmeg are standing together, looking at the stars. Pistachio asks if Nutmeg thinks the sun and moon are friends, and Nutmeg says yes. "How do you know?" asks Pistachio. "Because they take care of eachother. One keeps lookout while the other rests." replies Nutmeg. The last panel shows the sun and moon smiling.

Belly the small round squirrel is wearing a chef hat shaking salt over a plate of spaghetti. "Dinner is served!" she yells, kicking over the bowl. It falls off of the branch she is standing on and lands on Norma the tall triangular squirrel! "Presentation could use some work." says Norma.
