Bear + Bird in "Huggy" by Jarod Roselló
Bear, a pink bear, opens their mouth wide to show many round white teeth and says “I have big teeth!” Their friend Bird, a circular purple bird, flies over their head and exclaims “So chompy!”. Bear shows three long, black claws on each of their hands and says, “Look at these claws!” Bird replies, “So scratchy!” Then, Bear flexes their large muscles and stands tall over Bird, adding, “I am big and strong!” Bird chirps, “so scary!”. Finally, Bear says, “But check out this fur!” and gently hugs Bird. Bird exclaims, “So huggy!”

Reggie, the kid penguin was playing around in a pink inflatable pool in his yard when all of a sudden the pool got a hole in it. Water began to leak out from the hole; Reggie, still inside the pool, watched in shock. A friend goat watched from the yard. The pool fully emptied out and Reggie was incredibly angry that not only was the pool drained, but the grass around it was also wet. The goat came over and said, “Looks like it’s time to kiss your pool goodbye!” He goes on to tell Reggie that this is a life lesson because nothing lasts forever, but Reggie disappears from the line of vision of the goat. The scene switches and Reggie has gone into another yard and is trying to fit into a bird bath as a makeshift pool, but he is way too big!

Every so often in the Dungeon’s caverns, a troll would get stuck due to their size… or bad luck. On this particular day, a troll hollered and yelped for L D G’s help. Unable to push the troll through the cave herself, she recruited a legion of friends. With rope in hand, the three guards pulled and pulled until the troll popped out of the muck, hoping it would be a while before they found another so stuck.

Norma and Belly by Mika Song
Squirrel Grandpa is reading the newspaper in the tree-hole with his coffee and muffin in front of him. He looks down and realizes his muffin is gone. He shouts out of the hole, “It’s mostly mushroom, you know!” He knows that Belly the squirrel stole the muffin and Belly doesn’t like mushrooms, which is proven when the scene changes to Belly, outside of the hole on the tree. Belly spits out the muffin with a tissue to her mouth.

Mark & Zark by Dan Moynihan
The alien got up and said, “I’m really sorry about that. Are you OK?” Mark was too surprised to form words, and all he got out was: “W-w-whuh??” The alien thought to itself: “This Earthling seems to be in shock. I’d better check him out.” It took out a long red device with a screen and two antennas. After many beeps and boops, the alien showed the screen to the confused Mark and said: “According to my Pocket Doctor, you’re OK. See?”

Mr Wolf, grinning, exclaims “I am so happy today! Everybody is learning!” With a “hup”, Mr Wolf does a handstand as the students watch in awe.
