A macadamia nut and a coconut are skating on the ice. The macadamia nut asks the coconut why ice skaters are called figure skaters. The Coconut sits on the ice and says because they have to figure out how to skate.

Peter Cadaver by Stan Yan

Manny the mummy kid and Peter Cadaver the little green Fankenstein-monster kid stand in front of a mirror in a haunted house. Manny says he heard that if you say something three times it will come out. Peter is scared and tells him to say something they want. Manny says, “Money! Money! Money!” Three reflections of Manny the mummy appear in the mirror. Peter says, “I think it misheard you.”

A small gray kitty with red glasses and a large orange cat stand at the kitchen counter full of baking ingredients. The kitty asks the cat what their New Year’s resolution is. The orange cat says it is to bake more. The cat asks what her resolution is. The kitty says with hearts in her eyeglasses, “To eat more!” as cakes and pastries float around her words.

A little green monster with one giant eye and yellow hair is listening to music on headphones. Another green monster comes up and tells her a long story. The monster says, “Pretty funny story, huh?” The other monster removes her headphones and says, “Yeah, so funny.”

A capybara explains to two rats that it is also a rodent. The rats asks how that can be. Long- Word Rat explains that the classification rodent is based on self-sharpening teeth. The Small-Word Rat asks if they can call him “cuz”. The Capybara says, “Please can you say Capybara.” The Small-Word Rat explains that they can’t. “Ok, cuz.” says the Capybara.

Mark wakes up on the floor of his bedroom from a terrible dream where he was not wearing pants to school. Zark the Martian greets him from the window. They can’t believe it’s finally the day of their science fair. As they carry their science project in a box, Mark wonders if they are really ready for this. Zark says, "Of course they are, what could possibly go wrong?”

A brown dog shakes a purple bird stuffie in its mouth. It says, “You messed with the wrong dog.” The stuffie is all shredded on the ground. The dog tells a gray wolf, “This bird is done. Right, Wolf?” The Wolf says, “Uh, that’s not a bird.” The dog replies, “Not anymore!”

Two older squirrels ask a tiny squirrel if cuteness can really be learned. The tiny squirrel says that its something they’ve been developing over the years. The other squirrel says, “Aren’t you eight months old?” The tiny squirrel gets annoyed and asks if they want to learn the science of cuteness or not. The squirrels walk away. The tiny squirrel calls after them, “Meet back here at noon, bring snacks!”
