Artist Spotlight:
Jen de Oliveira, creator of REGGIE
What was your favorite comic, video, or cartoon character growing up?
I loved animation as a kid (and still do!), especially the Peanuts television specials. Snoopy and Charlie Brown were my favorite characters.
What is your favorite thing to draw?
Funny animals with lots of energy and expression
What art tools do you use to make your comics?
I always start with a pencil and paper (sketchbook). But to make the finished art for my REGGIE comics, I use Photoshop and a Wacom Cintiq tablet connected to my laptop.
Where can readers find more of your books, comics, or stuff that you make or do?
